Unleash your sound
Without the limits of wired connections, you can stay focused on the creative side of making and performing music. Additionally, the BM-1 runs on 5V or 3.3V power supplied via the MIDI OUT terminal of the connected device, so there is no need for batteries or charging.
Seemless automatic pairing
No manual setup is needed. Simply power on, and the BM-1 will detect and pair with nearby BLE-MIDI devices automatically.
Flexible connection options
The main adapter and sub-adapter can be used together or separately to match your setup. If your equipment only has a MIDI OUT terminal, you can use just the main adapter (The sub-adapter cannot be used on its own).
The adapters are different depths and connected by a flexible cable, making them easy to attach even when the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT jacks are close together or vertically aligned.
Group multiple devices
Using the dedicated Korg BM-1 App, you can group up to five BM-1 units to send and receive MIDI between them.
Unlock extra features in Korg software
When you launch Korg’s free music apps Korg Gadget 2 LE or Korg Module with the BM-1 connected, additional gadgets, tracks, and functions become available.
Korg Gadget 2 Le
In Korg Gadget 2 LE, connecting the BM-1 expands your setup with extra gadgets - Amsterdam and Brussels on iOS/iPadOS, and Amsterdam, Brussels, and Chiangmai on macOS - plus increases track capacity to 5 on iOS and 8 on macOS.
Korg Module
In Korg Module, BM-1 activation adds four premium sound programs (Natural Tine EP, Simple Organ, Clav CA, Strings and Sync Lead), six Gadgetized versions of modules, and powerful new features including Set List, MIDI player, and audio recording, enhancing both studio and live performance versatility.
