  OPERATING SYSTEM VERSION 2.14 FOR PC  
   

 

This is the latest Operating System version for all D1600 units. Only upgrade your D1600 OS if you have an earlier version (Your version number is briefly displayed on D1600's "wake-up" screen on powering up).

Please note that in order to upgrade the D1600 operating system, you will need an approved CD drive fitted to the D1600. To prepare the upgrade CD, you will also need a CD writer on your computer. If you do not have these facilities, please contact Korg UK via the support form.

Included in this download is the Manual Addendum describing the new features and operations introduced in Version 2, a history, and instructions on how to update your unit.

We always recommend running the latest OS version.

  D1600 MKII WINDOWS 98 USB DRIVER  
   

 

If your computer is equipped with a USB port and is running Windows 98, the KORG USB Driver will allow you to backup your D1600 mkII data to your computer via a USB cable.

This download contains two items: The installation manual in .pdf format, and a folder containing the software driver. Copy the folder to your computer, and follow the direction in the manual.

Please refer to the D1600mkII User's Manual about how to backup data after the installation. This driver is not needed for users of Windows 2000/ME/XP/Vista/7.
