Announcing the AX10A, the newest member of the AX10 family of modeling effects processors. The AX10A joins its brethren, the AX10G guitar processor and AX10B bass processor, which are acclaimed for their high-quality effects using “REMS” modeling technology, intuitive operation, and the creative possibilities provided by their expression pedal. In addition to the standard effects such as compressor, limiter, delay, and reverb, the AX10A provides unique effects like body effects that simulate the resonances of famous acoustic guitars, mic simulation, resonator guitar sound, and nylon-string guitar sounds. The sound from a piezo output can be transformed to add the natural depth unique to an acoustic guitar, giving you a warm and mellow acoustic sound.

Numerous Built-in Effects Using “REMS” Deliver the Acoustic
Sounds You Want
Built into the AX10A are numerous effects powered by Korg’s amazingly
accurate “REMS” modeling technology and optimized for acoustic
sounds. These include standard effects such as compressor and limiter, ambience
effects such as echo, delay, and reverb, as well as chorus. You can take advantage
of a wide range of creative sound-making potential without impairing your
natural acoustic sound.
Body & Mic Modeling Effect Simulates Body Resonances and Mic’ing
The built-in Body effect simulates the sonic character produced by the body
resonances of famous acoustic guitars. From great names of the past to new
cutting-edge brands, the subtle differences in sound arising from the body
structure and size of numerous guitars have been modeled in precise detail.
While piezo output can tend to have a somewhat sterile character, the Body
effect produces a richer and more natural sound by adding the resonances of
the wood and body that are typical of an acoustic guitar. Unique types such
as the distinctive sound of a resonator guitar and the sound of nylon strings
can also be simulated. You can play all these types of acoustic sounds from
just one single electric-acoustic guitar!
There’s also a built-in Mic effect that simulates the sense of “air” and space that you get when you mic an acoustic guitar. With the AX10A, it’s easy for anyone to get the sound of mic’ing techniques that would otherwise require years of experience and knowledge. You can enjoy rich, full acoustic sounds even with a direct-line connection.
Eighty Preset Programs
40 preset programs cover a wide range of genres, playing styles, and situations.
You can store 40 more user programs, giving you a total of 80 programs to
choose from.
Expression Pedal for Real-time Control of Notch Filter or Other Parameters
You can use the built-in expression pedal to control the volume or a variety
of effects, including the notch filter. You can obtain a wide range of expressive
possibilities by using the pedal to adjust the depth of chorus, delay, or
reverb in real time. If you assign the pedal to control the notch filter,
you’ll be able to find the feedback point while holding your guitar
in a standing position. This means that you can eliminate feedback under various
conditions when performing live on stage.
Tuner and Other Support Functions
The AX10A provides a full range of support functions, including an Auto Chromatic
Tuner. Its intuitive knob-based interface and easily understandable panel
layout make it simple for you to create your own sounds. The AX10A’s
compact design and its ability to operate on battery power make it portable
and convenient for all types of situations.
