Great sound in a small, easy-to-use package
The Ampworks modeler is a stress-free way to experience real amp sound in
any situation. Since it's ultra-compact design enables it to fit into the
accessory pocket of a guitar case, it's easy to take it along wherever you
go - home, studio or stage. This compact unit is also great for PC-based recording
systems with limited desktop space.
Modeling technology for realistic sound
Korg's proprietary "REMS" modeling technology is acclaimed by musicians
around the world and is used to deliver numerous types of realistic simulation.
With stadium-class sound unimaginable from a unit its size, Ampworks delivers
the serious sound you need.
Ampworks contains eleven coveted guitar amp sounds
Ampworks provides eleven types of amp sounds ranging from vintage to modern.
From the warm and fat sounds of tube amps to aggressive high-gain amps and
brilliant clean tones, Ampworks delivers the most sought-after tones for any
style of playing.
Cabinet models sweeten your tone potential
Ampworks provides eleven different models of cabinet and speaker configurations.
Every detail of cabinet resonance is faithfully simulated, delivering superb
depth and spatial realism even when using headphones or direct-line output.
A full range of effects for flexible sound creation
High-quality effects such as compressor, modulation, delay, and reverb are
built-in. These realistic effects are modeled from a variety of superb, pro-level
effects using sophisticated technology. The results deliver new depth and
versatility to your sound arsenal.
Preset programs let you plug in and play
For each amp model, ideal tone settings (including the cabinet model and ideal
effect) have been preset. Since these eleven preset programs are selected
automatically when you choose an amp model, you can immediately start playing
with the optimal amp sound. You can also store your own favorite settings
in the two user area programs.
Knob-based interface for intuitive editing
Like a conventional analog amp, operation is simply a matter of turning the
knobs. Not just the tone controls, but all amp, cabinet and effect settings
are selected using dedicated knobs, so creating the sound you want is intuitive
and fast. Delay time, reverb time, and LFO speed settings can be made using
the convenient Tap button. There's also a Manual mode that detects the physical
position of the knobs, giving you visual confirmation of the sound.
