AudioGate Software Version 2.0.1
This new version of the AudioGate software works with all of the MR recorders; the MR-1, MR-1000 and the MR 2000S. This update adds compatibility with Windows Vista 64-Bit, and addresses a few minor bugs.
New enhancements include:
- Support for reading and creating DSD Discs
- Support for reading and creating audio CDs
- A new “Normalize” function and advanced dithering options
- Support for FLAC, WMA, AAC and Apple Lossless formats

The 1.6 firmware update for the MR-1 adds many new features to improve operational ease.
Improved Fast-forward and Rewind
When holding down the FF or REW button during playback, you can now hear sound (commonly called scrubbing).
Support for AIFF file playback
The MR-1 can now play non-compressed AIFF files with the extension of .aif, and .aiff.
Other improvements and bug fixes
· The USB connection between the MR-1 and Mac computers has been improved. You can now re-connect the MR-1 to your Mac after disconnecting without needing to reboot the MR-1.
· The DSDIFF file format will now be correctly displayed as “DSDIFF” instead of “DFF”.
· MR-1 moves to record-ready mode when an error occurs during recording. Then you can hear the input.
· The accuracy of the level meter of PCM (WAV/MP3) files has been improved.
· You can now move the playback location to (00:00:00.000) by pushing the REW button even if a project doesn't have mark at the start position. (Only when Play Mode is "Current Proj/File")
· With an audio file selected as the current song, you can now move the playback location to the beginning of the song by pushing the REW button. (Only when Play Mode is "Current Proj/File")
