As with all the Electribe Dance Tools, it brings you powerful sounds, an easy-to-use pattern sequencer, and an intuitive-play interface that will put you in the driver's seat of your own creative, groove-enhanced destiny.

ES-1mkII - Sample and go!
Fresh up-to-date patterns, a new Mod. Delay effect, and a sleek metal chassis make the ELECTRIBE-S mkII an even more radical sampler than ever before.The ES-1mkII packs a full complement of sampler functionality into a compact package. The intuitive knob-based interface delivers extreme sound-modifying potential including Time Slice & Resample. Rhythmic programming using the sixteen pad keys is flexible and fast, letting you construct rhythm patterns and break beats quickly and easily. The ES-1mkII lets your creative imagination flow directly into the rhythms that form the core of dance music.

Logical, easy-to-use interface
The sound shaping controls on every Electribe are located right on the front panel, so tweaking is simple. A 16-step pattern grid makes it easy to create parts and to see exactly what's going on. Tap the Part buttons to play sounds in realtime, or use the step keys as a live keyboard.

Pattern performance with realtime flexibility
Each 'Tribe contains 256 Pattern locations. Within each Pattern you can solo and mute parts for even more variation. Patterns (up to 4 bars long) can be played live from the Step Keys, calling up new patterns as you perform for realtime mixing and remixing applications. You can string up to 256 Patterns together and save your final arrangement into a Song. You can even record & playback sound, effect and parameter tweaks.

Slice loops with Time Slice
Chop a sampled phrase or sound into pieces with the ELECTRIBE·S' Time Slice function. Time Slice detects the attacks of each part within a loop (e.g., bass drum, snare, and hi-hat), so that these parts can be massaged separately. You can also use the knobs to modify the tone of a phrase processed by Time Slice, creating complex patterns from a simple loop or phrase.

Realtime resampling
With the resampling function, you can apply effects to a previously-recorded sample and then resample the result. You can even resample while modifying parameters such as pitch in realtime, and create even more new sounds with absolutely no deterioration in audio quality.
