The CDRW-1 is an optional internal CDR/W burner for the TRITON STUDIO, PA1X Series and the D12 Digital Recording Studio:

TRITON STUDIO

Adding the CDRW-1 to a TRITON STUDIO makes it easy for you to create original audio CDs or data backup CDs without using any external equipment. After your song is finished, just sample the output to the internal hard drive and the resulting .WAV files can be written to the optional CDRW-1 to create an audio CD. From initial inspiration to final CD – what could be easier?

PA1X and PA1X PRO

The optional CDRW-1 can play your CD-Audio, load files such as Akai samples, new styles and sounds etc into your Pa1X. (CD burning supported from O.s. 2.0)

D12 Digital Recording Studio

Complete your D12 Digital Recording Studio with the addition of the CDRW-1X8 low profile Internal CDR/W Burner. In addition to being able to create multiple audio CD copies of your finished work (at up to 8x speeds!), our new CDRW drive allows for other applications as well. You can save and re-load data from a current project, either for archive use, or to return to finish the mix at a later time. This type of data backup preserves all your scene memories, EQ settings and all effect routings, so you can pick up right where you left off, with out reassigning tracks, etc...

The Korg CDRW-1 can also be used to export data in multiple .WAV files, for use with other digital audio applications.WAV files can also be imported from CD-ROM to use in your songs. Finally, by placing an existing audio CD in the drive, you can record from the CD directly to tracks in the digital domain, using the D12 to control all transport functions.

The CDRW-1 can be easily user-installed in minutes.
