The Korg A3 Perforamance Signal Processor

41 internal effects and 20 chains - plus the ability to load more from ROM and RAM cards

The A3 is equipped with 41 effect types including reverb, deley, exciter, distortion, chorus and rotary speaker and allows simultaneous processing of up to 6 effects. The effect combinations are known as "Chains" and 20 of the most essential have been pre- programmed into the internal memory of the A3. Complete digital processing of the sound, from input to output, is accomplished by the specially developed Korg DSP (Digital Signal Processor) chip. Edits to effect parameters and Chains can be saved to any of the 100 internal programs or saved directly to a RAM card. New effects and Chains can be loaded into the A3 via the continuously expanding ROM card library. The optional FC6 Foot Controller allows remote program changes and effect on/off switching for live performance applications.
