This latest Operating System update for the TRITON Le fixes a single low level bug, however, we recommend that you always keep your operating system up-to-date. A full listing of all O.S. changes is included as a .pdf document in this download.

Users who are updating from an operating system earlier than Version 1.5 will want to download the System Version 1.5 Update Guide to learn about the new features added in that O.S.

The TRITON Le uses the SmartMedia slot to receive the O.S. Data. For this reason, you must have a SmartMedia reader/writer attached to your computer to complete this upgrade.

This latest Operating System update for the TRITON Le adds a number of important new features including: "One Touch" Recording, Swing Quantization, Tap Tempo, improved Combination copying into the Sequencer, improved sample loading, and much more.

There are two versions of the OS to choose from:

1) Tnlv150 - Data intended to be loaded via a Smartmedia card (which requires that you have a Smartmedia card reader attached to your computer)

For PC users: Tnlv150.exe (2.2MB)
For MAC users: Tnlv150.hqx (3.1MB)

2) Tnlv150m - An SMF file that contains the data, which can be played into the Triton Le via MIDI. Note that not all programs can successfully perform this operation so please read the included documentation before trying this.

IMPORTANT
To use the SmartMedia method requires a SmartMedia card and writer. If you have access to these items, we recommend that you choose the SmartMedia process as your preferred method of upgrading. If you update the Triton Le by the midifile file method, please be aware that this process is dependent on the quality of your computers midi interface, driver and software. Please ensure that your MIDI interface is configured correctly and that you have the latest driver from its manufacturer.
