Version 2.01 is a small but important O.S. Revision. It adds no new features, and contains no bug fixes. This revision is required to keep the D16XD compliant with new S/P DIF standards.

If you are upgrading from a version earlier than 2.0, please be sure to download the Version 2.0 Manual as well.

This upgrade may be performed from CD or via the USB connection from your Mac or Windows PC.

Be sure to select the right download for your use.

Included in each compressed download is a "How To" set of instructions for performing the upgrade. Please follow the directions carefully, as the system files need to be placed where the D16XD can find them.

This is the operating system for all current D16XD recorders (May 2004) Only upgrade your OS if you have an earlier version.

Version 2.0 adds a wealth of new features to your D16XD, including fader event automation (although without the "flying faders" of the D32XD); more navigation tools, increased functions for the knobs, more simultaneous record tracks in the 24-bit mode, and much more (see below)

If your computer is equipped with a USB port and is running Windows 98, the Korg USB Driver will allow you to exchange data between your XD recoder and your computer via a USB cable.

This download contains two items: The installation manual in .pdf format, and a folder containing the software driver. Copy the folder to your computer, and follow the direction in the manual.

Please refer to the User's Manual about how to exchange data after the installaion. This driver is not needed for users of Windows 2000/ME/XP.
