This is a copy of the standard factory preload data that was loaded into new DS-8 keyboards.

These files are in MIDEX format and contains the raw Midi system exclusive data (Starts F0 and ends F7). This type of file can be loaded directly into Cakewalk on the PC as well as some shareware Midi librarian programs such as Software Forge Sysex Manager 95.

Note: Korg system exclusive is channel sensitive and therefore this preload data is saved using Midi channel 1. Please ensure you set the receiving instrument to Midi channel 1.

When sending the data to the 707 or DS-8 please also ensure that all memory protects are switched off and Midi system exclusive is enabled.

This is an Atari ST program that will reload the 707 and DS-8 keyboards.

• Download the file atari707.zip
• Use Winzip or similar program to unzip to a temporary directory.
• Copy all files to 720k formatted DSDD disk and insert this it to the Atari computer.
• You will find a file called readme.doc which gives full instructions on how to reload your 707/DS-8.
