UK PRODUCT MANAGER – GUITAR PRODUCT RANGES         

Salary: Competitive + bonus + benefits

Based in Milton Keynes and reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position requires a total and detailed focus on VOX, KORG tuners and guitar effects, taking full responsibility for all aspects of lifecycle product management.  As an active part of the UK/EU marketing effort and department, you will join an international team of people involved in the product development process for all VOX and KORG effects and tuner products. You will also play a key role in developing the sales strategy for these product ranges.

Role objectives:

• To forecast and purchase product in line with sales plan
• Be involved in pricing, marketing and sales strategising
• To help define specifications of amps and effects products
• To lead the product development effort into products that will add the most sales to Korg UK
• To monitor the development process so that initial production meets specifications

This is a very varied and challenging role requiring the ability to deal with many issues at any one time and the desire to take full responsibility.  Proven experience relevant to all the areas listed above is essential.  Experience with guitar amplifiers, guitars, tuners and effects products in professional performance/recording and/or sales and marketing contexts is highly preferable, although not essential if previous marketing and forecasting experience has included technically based consumer products attracting an emotion-led purchase.
